Under the direction of the Police Sergeant, performs daily activities of the Patrol unit of the Department of Public Safety. Work is performed in accordance with Federal, State and Local laws and ordinances, as well as Departmental Rules and Regulations. Prepares required reports and keeps the patrol supervisor informed concerning all matters affecting the efficiency of the assigned unit to include personnel matters, Department policy and criminal activity. This position is held by a certified police employee.
