Other Programs

Volunteers

The Elsie S. Hogan Community Library welcomes volunteers and offers a variety of opportunities for service to our library.

Children, Teens, Adults and Seniors

Various programs are offered throughout the year for these age groups. For detailed information about current programs and activities, contact the library staff

Gifts

Gifts of books, monetary gifts and other materials are accepted with the understanding that they may be used or disposed of according to library policy. We recommend all donations be given through the Friends of the Library.

Friends of the Library

The mission of the Friends of the Library (FoL) is to stimulate and support the use of library resources and services that the library offers and to receive gifts, endowments and bequests. FoL volunteers operate the non-profit Friendly Book Store, located at 125 E. Maley Street. Sales from donations of books and magazines are directed to children’s services, the Arizona collection, and enhancement and renovation of library facilities. The Friends support the TAG Magazine and also offers “per-class” financial assistance to needy students, as determined by Cochise College staff, in lieu of a scholarship.”
